Home Visiting - Apple Tree Little Things Matter - (Sierra) * is a Home Visiting Program. New Mexico Home Visiting programs are free to all families.
About Home Visiting
Provides home visiting services to pregnant mothers or primary care givers and their children from prenatal up to 3 or 5 years, depending on the program model. Home Visiting helps families to: gain knowledge regarding child development, connect with community support services, discover ways to support learning through play and interactions, receive emotional support through challenges associated with raising a child, and access support to get out of dangerous or unhealthy situations.

Wheelchair / Mobility Accessible
i.e. wheelchair accessible hallways and doors, ramp access, elevator access, etc

Support and coaching for caregivers that are breast or chest-feeding
Infant Massage
Supports massage therapy for babies
Circle of Security
This program fosters positive relationship between parent and child
Car Seat Technician
This program educates parents and caregivers how to properly use car seats
Car Seat Distribution
This program provides car seats based on specific need and availability
Fatherhood Group/Support
Program facilitates father support groups
ASQ (developmental screening) Trained
Developmental and social-emotional screening for children birth to 6 y/o
ACES Screening
Screening assessment tool to identify at risk children
Trauma Informed Support
Provide support to clients exposed to traumatic events
IMH IFRS Endorsement
Endorsement® indicates an individual’s efforts to specialize in the promotion/practice of infant mental health within his/her own professional discipline.
